TEDx Bromley 2026 - Defying Expectations

After two sold-out events as TEDx Beckenham, the TEDx experience arrives at Bromley High School on Saturday 3 October.

What to expect:

TEDx events are local gatherings where TED-style talks bring people in the local area together to share ideas that create change in the community.

This year’s TEDx Bromley event will feature ten inspiring speakers sharing their ideas around the theme “Defying Expectations”.

Expect to have your mind expanded, find out about local community groups and sponsors through interactive experiences and connect and network with like-minded people.

There will also be an opportunity to purchase food and drink from local vendors at the venue.

This year's venue:

TEDx Bromley 2026 will be held at Bromley High School for Girls. The school's history dates back to 1883, with the school moving to its current site on Blackbrook Lane in the 1980s. We have use of the impressive 400-seater main hall as well as the adjoining breakout and networking space in the dining hall.

How to get there:

Bickley (15 mins) and Petts Wood (20 mins) train stations are both within walking distance.

Buses: 208, 162 & 269 both run along main roads and a short walk away or R7 runs along Blackbrook Lane with stops near the school entrance.

There will also be car parking spaces available at the school itself and on neighbouring roads.
