TEDx Bromley 2026 - Defying Expectations

After two sold-out events as TEDx Beckenham, the TEDx experience arrives at Bromley High School on Saturday 3 October.

Why come to TEDx Bromley?

Hear from ten inspiring speakers who will defy your expectations around parenting, creativity, dropping out of University and much more

Join the conversation and connect with local business owners, community organisations and like-minded people in our breakout space

Come to our after-party and dance the night away at the Royal Bell on Bromley High Street, the town's hottest new venue

What to expect:

Imagine the excitement of going to a football match but where everyone is cheering on the same team. That's what being at a TEDx feels like.

This year’s TEDx Bromley event will feature ten inspiring speakers sharing their ideas around the theme “Defying Expectations”. If you enjoy hearing new ideas, meeting new people or want to get inspired to make a difference locally and in the wider world, this is the event for you.

Prepare to be challenged, changed and cheered.

Check out www.tedxbromley.co.uk to find out more about the speakers and our sponsors.

We have set up a private LinkedIn group to spark conversations and generate excitement ahead of the event, as well as allowing you to find out who’s coming and make connections before they arrive. We will invite you to join the group after you've bought your ticket.

Free tea and coffee will be available throughout the afternoon. There will also be a pizza van and ice cream stall where you can buy your lunch or snacks.

This year's venue:

TEDx Bromley 2026 will be held at Bromley High School for Girls. The talks will be shared from the 400-seater main hall, with exhibitors, food vendors and a networking space in the adjoining dining hall.

The school is within walking distance of Bickley, Chislehurst and Petts Wood stations and on multiple bus routes. Parking is also available at the school and on adjoining roads.

And then join us for the after-party!

After an afternoon of inspiration and challenge, you’ll probably want to relax. We’ve got you covered!

All ticket holders are entitled to join us at our after-party at the Royal Bell on Bromley High Street from 6.30pm the same evening. This historic venue reopened earlier this year following a major restoration and it really does take your breath away!
