What is TEDx?
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED created a program called TEDx. TEDx represents local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our main event is called TEDxVictoria, where x = independently organized TED event.
Alongside our main event, we host Salon events throughout the year. These follow a smaller format and allow for more focused programming, discussion and connection.
The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
