Frequently Asked Questions

Who are the instructors? Our Lead Instructors are highly skilled educators and certified leadership coaches, many of whom are also current or former teachers. They bring a wealth of expertise and passion to every session. Our proprietary curriculum is crafted by master-level consultants with advanced degrees in education and deep experience in instructional design and learning theory, ensuring your teen receives top-quality guidance.

What time should my child arrive and be picked up? Please ensure your child arrives no earlier than 10 minutes prior to the start time and is picked up promptly at stated end time. Supervision is not available outside of these times.

Can parents observe or participate? To create a safe, open space for teens to fully engage, our labs are for teens only. However, we provide personalized action plans, discussion prompts, and resources for parents to continue the learning at home.

Is the registration fee refundable? The registration fee is non-refundable unless the organizer cancels the session. If a participant is unable to attend a session, a credit will be placed on file that may be used at any time for a future program. The credit does not expire.

Do you offer virtual programs? No, our programs are intentionally designed to be in-person because we believe the most impactful learning happens face-to-face. By creating a collaborative, screen-free environment, we foster meaningful connections, hands-on engagement, and the kind of focus that helps teens thrive in ways virtual programs simply can’t replicate.

What age group are the labs designed for? Our current labs are tailored for middle school students. We’re also excited to announce that our high school lab series is launching soon! If you’d like to join the waitlist, please email us at teensuccesslabs@seizeyoursuccess.net.

Should my child bring food? We provide light snacks and water during the workshops to help keep energy levels up. Please note that some snacks may be manufactured in facilities that handle common allergens, including wheat, peanuts, tree nuts, sesame, soybeans, eggs, milk, fish, and shellfish. If your child has dietary restrictions or preferences, they are welcome to bring their own snack and water.
