The Tellers' Playground

A space for new kinds of storytelling nights, and for people developing shows, stories, poems, workshops and more to try things out, receive feedback, and grow. Things don’t have to be finished or perfect to be shared. Instead of a school with all-knowing teachers, we are a playground where we learn with and from each other, each bringing our own interests, ideas, and experiences. We support one another in finding our authentic, unique voices and styles. We question the old stories that shape this world of inequality and inhumanity, and carefully choose the stories we tell, seeking those that help us grow more just and humane futures. Our curated nights reflect this same care: storytellers are invited as artists and paid for their work.
