The Chapin Sisters
The Chapin Sisters
Super excited to announce that New York's The Chapin Sisters play Base Camp on Wed 27 July. Masters of blood harmony, the siblings hail from a proud musical legacy which includes their Grammy award winning uncle Harry and father Tom. Lilting voices, complex vocal harmonies, and haunting folk-influenced melodies combine with a dark, lyrical content.
Moving seamlessly between their own deftly crafted songs, familiar country classics, pop covers and traditional folk, it’s spine-tingling stuff.
Support comes from The Ocelots, 24-year-old twins Brandon and Ashley Watson. Formerly based in Ireland, now in Leipzig, Germany, the brothers have crafted their songwriting and musical experience together to produce a forceful blend of rich harmonies and bare, raw acoustic folk. Their music perfectly embodies the breezy effortlessness of early Bob Dylan, and Simon & Garfunkel and has earned them over 1.5 Million listens on Spotify.
