Terminus presents a four part blues dance lesson series to help you get down

Welcome to party dancing! Do you ever freeze up during a faster blues song? Do you get lost for moves that don’t bump you into people in a crowded bar? Do you want to groove to funkier songs in fun new ways?

Then join us on Tuesdays in September for our newest lesson series on Jukin’ dances!

Welcome Party, Sept 1:

Join us at ITP Kitchen on Tuesday, September 1st to get comfy in our new space! Come and meet your classmates, have a drink and take a drop-in lesson to get a head start on classes.

September 8th : Mooches and Grinds with Sarah Caldow and Kara Pemberton

Discover your solo movement! This week we’ll dig into the floor and into these two classic moves, the Mooch and the Grind. Once you’re mooching and grinding like a champ, we’ll explore ways to mix those moves up and add your own style.

September 15th: Funky Butt with Sarah Caldow and Kara Pemberton

Learn how to swing your hips like a pendulum, and how to rely more on your partner connection to create cool moves in any blues dance.

September 22: Chicago Triple with Mike and Dan Legenthal

Build on the partner connection from Funky Butt as we add triples that can take you around the room or keep you exactly in place.

September 29: More triples/Bringing it all together with Mike and Dan Legenthal

So you can triple, now what? Join us in learning how to integrate those triples into turns, moves, and variations. Practice your Chicago Triple, along with anything from the previous weeks you want to review. Come with questions!
