Hot Bits is a queer erotic film festival centering QTIBIPoC (queer, trans, intersex, Black, Indigenous, People of Color) self-determined desire, joy, and pleasure.
We highlight underrepresented bodies, acts and stories often marginalized by mainstream society in celebration of anti-oppressive queer/trans erotic life and art.

The afternoon slot for folks who like it slow, deep, and lingering. This program is experimental and doesn't rush, it savors. Think: ethereal encounters, underground intimacies, and the kind of erotic tension that builds over 20 minutes instead of 20 seconds.
International filmmakers bring you latex from the source, poetic unraveling, and work that dissects devotion, identity, and colonialism without flinching. These films trust you to sit with complexity. They trust you to feel deeply.
Perfect for: afternoon dreamers, puppy ravers, theory heads, people who cry at art, and anyone who believes erotica can be slow without being boring.

THE GUILD CINEMA
Albuquerque's oldest still-running movie theater since 1966
"The Guild Cinema, born and baptized in the world of pornography in the late '60s, helped show how the culture had evolved over the years."
1966–1971: The Guild opened as an art-house but quickly became a porn theater during the "raincoat crowd" era.
1971: Bert Manzari bought the Guild and transformed it into the legit indie/art-house venue it is today.
2007: Current owner Keif Henley fought the City of Albuquerque all the way to the NM Supreme Court for the right to show porn as part of the annual Pornotopia festival — and won.
Single-screen, community-owned, and committed to free expression. We're honored to add Hot Bits to this legacy.
