Bird Walk with Alastair

Join us for a refreshing morning bird walk through the natural surroundings of Watercress Farm. You'll be guided by one of our volunteer species leads whilst spotting and listening for a variety of local and seasonal bird species. Whether you're new to birdwatching or a seasoned enthusiast, this is a great way to connect with nature and sharpen your skills!

Tune into the sounds of the morning, and learn to identify a variety of bird species by call, song, silhouette. Along the way, you'll pick up birdwatching tips, meet fellow nature lovers and enjoy an uplifting start to your day. From House Martins and Hobbies to Buzzards and Herons, Watercress Farm is a haven for birdlife - especially in the early hours when they are most active.

Spaces are limited to 15 participants, so booking in advance is essential.
Due to the nature of the walk, dogs are not permitted.

There will be some rough ground walking, so please wear sensible shoes.
The ground is unsuitable for buggies and wheelchairs.

As we are birdwatching, please do bring binoculars or notebooks if you have them!
