Calling all fruit enthusiasts, cider makers, orchardists, and apple nerds!
Come learn about innovative orcharding methods, identifying and preserving heritage varieties, foraging wild fruit, cider making and lots more. Meet other orchard and apple enthusiasts while spending a beautiful summer weekend in Maine!
Maine Apple Camp is a biennial event hosted by MOFGA. This year, we are thrilled to hold Maine Apple Camp at Camp Bishopswood in Hope, ME. Schedule coming soon! For an idea of what to expect, check out the schedule from Maine Apple Camp 2022. Registrants can expect to receive a form ahead of the event, on which to specify food and accommodation (cabin vs. tent) preferences. Tickets include food and lodging for the weekend. We offer tickets on a sliding scale to accommodate a wide range of folks interested in these events. Please pay what you can afford, keeping in mind the costs associated with coordinating this event.
- Recommended price for general admission is $275
- Recommended price for MOFGA members is $225
- Tickets are free for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) and MOFGA Journeypersons
- Saturday-only tickets are available at $100
- Tickets for kids 8-15 are available at $75
- Tickets for kids under 8 are available for free
Scholarships are available by application, here.
Accommodations: All full-weekend participants will have the option to sleep in a cabin (the vast majority are shared cabins) but may also opt to bring their own tents and sleeping bags, in order to camp on-site. Registrants will receive a separate form to list food and accommodations preferences over email, within a few weeks of registering.
