Farm Training Project: Accessing and Leasing Land

Suncatcher Flower Farm leases 1 acre of land from Crystal Spring Farm in Brunswick. Joined by Maine’s Land for Good field agent, we will discuss the essentials of a good lease, considerations for growing on leased land and how to find land to farm. We will also discuss the decisions Kristen makes in her business due to the fact she leases land. There will be opportunities for networking and farmers that are interested in leasing land as well as landowners with land to lease are encouraged to attend.
