Learn to sustainably forage white pine needles, and to make salve with your harvest in this evening workshop led by Emily Springer of Meeting House Farm, and organized by The Ecology School & MOFGA. The class will focus on the herbal benefits of white pine for skin, as well as how to make a salve from infused white pine oil. All supplies required are included. Participants will leave this hands-on workshop with knowledge of white pine's medicinal properties, knowledge of sustainable foraging practices, and a tin of co-created white pine salve that will keep your hands happy through the winter cold. Just in time for winter, and for making holiday gifts!

This sliding scale is designed to make this workshop as accessible as possible while covering our costs and supporting our ability to continue programming just like this. Please pay what feels reasonable for you and your situation. The recommended price for non-MOFGA members is $45; the recommended price for MOFGA members is $35.
*Participants in MOFGA’s Journeyperson program and BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) are welcome to register at no cost.
