Calling all fruit enthusiasts, cider makers, orchardists, and apple nerds!
Maine Apple Camp is a biennial event hosted by MOFGA. We are excited to be back at Camp Bishopswood, on the gorgeous Megunticook Lake in Hope, Maine. Come learn about innovative orcharding methods, identifying and preserving heritage varieties, foraging wild fruit, cider making and lots more. Meet other orchard and apple enthusiasts while spending a beautiful summer weekend in Maine!

Ticketing Info:
What's included? All Maine Apple Camp tickets include food (dinner on Friday, three meals on Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday) and lodging (camping or bunkbed-style summer camp cabin) for the weekend.
Which ticket should I select? This event’s sliding scale registration is designed to keep the class as accessible as possible while also covering MOFGA’s costs. Recommended price for non-members is $275; recommended price for members is $225. Limited "Scholarship" tickets are available to community members in order to increase program accessibility, and participants in MOFGA’s Journeyperson program are welcome to register at no-cost. More scholarship tickets may be added, pending sponsorships and other ticket sales. If the scholarship ticket will make the difference for you in attending, you’re welcome to use the fund utilize these tickets by checking "Scholarship/JP" at checkout.
Accommodations:
All full-weekend participants will have the option to sleep in a cabin (the vast majority are shared, bunkbed-style summer camp cabins) but may also opt to bring their own tents and sleeping bags, in order to camp on-site. Please take care to accurately select your accommodations preferences at check-out. Food:
Camp Bishopswood is able to provide vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options at meals. If you have any of these dietary needs, please select them at checkout to ensure we have enough available options for you. For other allergies or dietary needs: we will do our best to work around any serious food allergies; and to ensure that a wide range of options is available, such that everyone is able to find something to eat. However, please note that the Camp Bishopswood staff is unable to provide ingredient info for each food item served; and due to the range of requests we receive, we may not be able to accommodate all dietary requests. There is a refrigerator on-site where you may bring and store your own food if this presents a concern.
Accessibility note:
Please be aware that Camp Bishopswood features many buildings with short flights of stairs leading to the entrance, and features uneven terrain throughout the grounds. If you have any questions or needs related to event accessibility, please reach out to events@mofga.org.
