Farm Training Project: Seed Saving and Crop Trialing

Join Heron Breen of Fruits of Our Labors, a seed production and plant breeding farm based in Corinna, for a workshop of seed saving and crop trialing. Fruits of Our Labors crop selects for the best genes for both flavor and performance in Maine. Over 6 cultivated acres they conduct personal trials as well as contract trial for other seed companies. More specific directions will be provided upon registration. Please note that the field we will be visiting is a few hundred yards walk away from the parking area. This tour involves walking over uneven, grassy surfaces.
