Join your fellow farmers as they open up their farms for this series of tours. There will be plenty of food and time to talk shop and connect over the season at hand.

Deer Fence and Getting a Loan for Critical Infrastructure Farm Tour

Wednesday, September 9th, 4:30 p.m.

Join Ian Jerolmack on a tour of his new deer fence and a discussion on getting a loan for critical infrastructure. Ian received a loan from CEI, and has some great information and insights to share on how he made this all work. Whether folks want to build a greenhouse, or buy a truck, he can touch on debt ratios and risk assessment. There will be food and folks can tour the farm, see greenhouses, and follow their noses.

Crop Rotation and Soil Health Farm Tour

Wednesday, September 16th, 5-7 p.m.

Join Ben and Taryn Marcus for a farm tour and discussion of crop rotation. Conversation will include their collaboration with a neighboring dairy farm to rotate fields to produce high value forage for the dairy and discuss the benefits of long term perennial cover crops for soil health and the subsequent row crops. There will be pizza and salad!

General Production in a No-Till System Farm Tour

Come visit and take a tour of Max Boudreau's no-till farming operation. Conversation will include general production topics and highlight their no-till system. There will be food! Preview a short film that highlights Winslow Farm's no-till crop rotation system.
