Little Testwood Lake (Reservoir)

Fishing Rules

The car park is open 8am-5pm in summer, 8am-4pm in winter. Please note, the gates to the nature reserve and car parks have a height barrier of 1.9m, which is usually closed.

• Fishing is permitted from dawn until dusk only. Arrive at or after Dawn until Dusk and then leave the lake.
• No night fishing is permitted under any circumstances.
• No pike fishing between 16th June and 30th September inclusive. Live baits must be 6" or less and only used if caught from this water. No coarse fish dead baits, sea dead baits only.
• No fish to be removed 
• Equipment - You must have in your possession a disgorger or forceps and an unhooking ma, a landing net of knotless construction and at least 36.5cm wide. 
• Bait - any form of bean, pulse (pea) or nut baits are strictly forbidden
• Rod and Line only including poles - only one barbless hook can be used, strictly no multi hook rigs unless fishing for pike but we would ask you to use only single hooks. 
• No pre-baiting of swims
• National Close Season Applies - the lake is closed for fishing during this period.
• National Rod License Mandatory - you must have a rod license to fish if you're aged 13 or older.
• Pre dried nets - all landing nets, keepnets, unhooking mats and weigh slings MUST be dried before being used. 
• No engines or apparatus including the use of bait boats and the like.

Age Restriction

Please note: This ticket is only available to guests aged 16 and over. Visitors under the age of 16 will not be permitted entry without a valid adult ticket holder accompanying them and must not purchase this ticket independently.

Please bring your ticket confirmation (printed or digital) for entry. Tickets are valid for one person for one full day.
