Workshops:
Learn to Spin with Lorna Shannon

to man, hand spinning was once the starting point for all woven fabrics. Using locally grown sheep's wool, you will learn to card, draft and use
a spinning wheel to create your own yarn to take away with you. Saturday the 24th June from 10am until 4pm.
Stone Walling with Nathan Morrow
1 day workshop with Rock Stone Masonry's Nathan Morrow. With this heritage skills expert you will get an introduction to the art of building without mortar. You will learn about the basic principals involved, and the types of tools required for dry stone walling. This will lead to the practical part of the course where Nathan will demonstrate dry walling, before encouraging you to take on a small section of wall yourself. This workshop involves lifting and manual labour; however, you will not be expected to exceed what you are comfortable with. Saturday the 24th June from 10am until 4pm.
Basket Weaving with Clive Lyttle
