November Guided Heritage Walk: Thorndon Country Park
Come and join our November guided heritage walk where we shall have a delightful stroll through Thorndon Country Park!
On this walk, we shall hear tales of Thorndon Hall, Old and New, of the Petre family and the first Royal Visit to a Catholic home since the Reformation. We shall also learn about the impact of the Ice Age on the landscape and enjoy the beautiful forest environment!
We shall meet at 10am in the car park in front of the Thorndon Nature Discovery Centre.
The walk is free but we do encourage a donation of £4 if possible. Parking is not included so attendees will need to pay for this.
Please wear appropriate footwear and clothing for this walk. This walk is suitable for age 18+ years.
