SLO6 -Thames Valley Surgical Skills Course

A surgical skills course in partnership with TVAA is being offered to ST6 doctors in the Thames Valley region. The course aims to teach and facilitate high-acuity, low-frequency surgical procedures through clinical simulation. Some examples of the procedures that will be covered in the course include Thoracostomy and open chest Drain, Thoracotomy, Perimortem Caesarean Section, Lateral Canthotomy, Pericardiocentesis and normal delivery.

Please register for the course using the link below. Payment will be requested approximately 6 weeks prior to the course taking place. 

Failure to pay when requested will result in your place being given to those on the wait list.

Location: Thames Valley Air Ambulance Education Department, Oxford House, Stokenchurch, HP14 3SX (free parking is available)

Food: Lunch is provided as well as teas/coffees

Cost: £500 per candidate
