A Conversation With… is a different kind of wedding planning event. An evening of honest conversation, beautiful inspiration and access to brilliant wedding professionals. Created by award-winning wedding planner Linzi Barford of that black & white cat weddings, in partnership with Nuroosa, a new, forward-thinking and sustainable wedding venue in the Derbyshire countryside.

For our very first Nuroosa Session, Linzi Barford will be talking about 5 Things I Wish Every Couple Knew Before Planning Their Wedding Day. Expect honest advice, real wedding stories, common planning mistakes and the things nobody tells you until you’re right in the middle of it.

Your evening begins with a custom Nuroosa cocktail and canapés, with time to explore The Style Edit - bridalwear, groomswear, florals and styling inspiration, but perhaps not quite as you’d expect. We’ll be creating ideas designed to make you stop, think and question some of those wedding choices we make simply because “that’s how weddings are done.”

You’ll also meet the brilliant wedding professionals joining us for the evening, including Alice Rose Bridal, The Suit Lounge, Limewood Flowers, Field & Larder Catering and Gina Fernandes Photography.

Then it’s over to you for Ask Us Anything - an open panel where you can put your own questions to the people who spend their lives working behind the scenes at weddings. The practical questions. The awkward questions. The “can we actually do that?” questions. Nothing is too silly, awkward or controversial.

No exhibition stands. No hard sell. Just beautiful inspiration, brilliant people and genuinely useful advice, all wrapped up in a really lovely evening at Nuroosa.
