The Actors Studio of New Jersey Presents: Rock of Ages

The Actors Studio of New Jersey is thrilled to announce its electrifying summer production of the smash-hit jukebox musical Rock of Ages, rocking the historic Dunellen Theatre as part of the company’s 2026 season and ongoing residency. The production will run from June 19th through June 28th, with performances every Friday and Saturday at 8:00pm and Sundays at 2:00pm. All performances will be held at Dunellen Theatre, 458 North Avenue, Dunellen, New Jersey 08812.

Set on Los Angeles’ legendary Sunset Strip in the late 1980s, Rock of Ages follows a small-town girl and a city boy who chase their Hollywood dreams in a world of big hair, bigger guitar solos, and 80s rock anthems. When greedy developers threaten to demolish their favorite rock club, an outrageous band of misfits, dreamers, and wannabe rock gods join forces to save the music—and discover love, identity, and the power of a perfect power ballad along the way. Packed with iconic hits from the era and a tongue-in-cheek sense of humor, Rock of Ages delivers a high-octane, feel-good night out that keeps audiences cheering, dancing and singing along.
