LUTO x The Adobros: a Filipino Independence Day Feast

Mabuhay!

After an absolute stormer of a feast at last year's Independence Day dinner, we're back with Round Two!

Bringing together Filipino pop-up stars and long-time friends, Mary San Pablo of LUTO and Mark Corbyn of The Adobros, we are putting on what we think and hope is an amazing and varied menu that honours the many different flavours of the Philippines - from kinilaw to pyanggang and everything in between! A fitting tribute to the 126th anniversary of the Philippines' declaration of independence from Spain.

There will be Surf 'n' Turf and Vegan options available.

We will also be raising funds (£5 from every ticket sold) for Project PEARLS, a charity that aims to help the poorest of poor Filipino children gain Peace, Education, Aspiration, Respect, Love and Smiles through education, empowerment, nutrition, nourishment, and healthcare.

***UPDATE*** the dinner will now be hosted at Weino BIB in Dalston, who have a fantastic and extensive drinks menu based around natural wines. It's a beautiful and cosy space they have, and we hope to have a beautiful crowd turn up as well! Tara na, come let's join us!

FAQs

What dietary requirements can you cater for?

• There are two menu options: Surf 'n' Turf or Vegan. Given the nature of the event, unfortunately we are not able to provide other alternatives - please note that there will be NUTS and GLUTEN. If you have any further questions, please do get in touch

Are there drinks available to buy?

• Yes! There will be an extensive drinks menu on offer from Weino BIB, who have a very enviable stash of alcoholic and non-alcohol drinks

What is your cancellation policy?

• Please get in touch if you wish to cancel your booking; refunds are available up to 4 days before the dinner

Are children welcome?

• Adventurous eaters who can eat their own adult portions are most welcome (and would need a ticket). Younger children and babies are also welcome without a ticket, though if the event is busy it might be a tight squeeze

Is the venue accessible?

• Yes, though please do get in touch if you had specific queries

Are dogs welcome?

• Well-behaved and friendly dogs (and of course all Guide and other Assistance dogs) are very welcome, particularly if they are cute!
