Singing the popular songs of the 50's, 60's and 70's!

Join us for our group singing FUNDRAISING event on Sunday August 25, from 3:00-4:30 PM to benefit the ALCAZAR THEATRE. Join professional musicians Hans and Lisa for a fun afternoon of live music and group sing-along while Master of Ceremonies JOHN PALMINTERI OF KEYT NEWS will be adding his charm to this community centered event!

You don't have to be a great singer...or even a good singer. The only requirement needed is that you want to join in the fun and sing your hearts out!

The positive effects of group singing are many and include:

• forging of connections between people
• a sense of well-being and belonging
• release of the "feel good/happy" endorphins in the brain
• increases oxygen throughout the body and leads to better circulation
• helps you beat stress and relax, leading to better sleep
• Is just plain FUN and we can always use more of that!

Bio:

Hans Betzholtz is a retired professional recording artist and current band member, who attended the Adolf Fredrik School of Music in Stockholm, Sweden. Lisa Starr is a natural-born singer who has been in several local bands, has been a wedding singer and currently, enthusiastically leads group singing events with her husband Hans for parties, events and gatherings.
