True Ames presents George Greenough's latest film compilation - The 6 Pack, featuring Echoes with music by Pink Floyd. George Greenough is a surf photography and filmmaking pioneer, building homemade water housings to capture never-before-seen moments of waves and wave riding. George's dedication to documenting deep tube riding led to countless sessions of 20+ pounds of camera gear mounted on his back, navigating barreling waves on his spoon kneeboard or inflatable four-pontoon surf mat. Originally captured on film, these remastered recordings take us back to an era well before Go Pros and thruster setups. Join us at the Alcazar Theatre in Carpenteria, CA, for a showing and post-viewing discussion of George's films.
