2nd Annual Carpinteria Film Festival
The 2nd Annual Carp Film Fest returns to the Alcazar from August 14 to 16. Join us for three days of short films, filmmaker Q&As, live music, and evening feature screenings.
Michael Lazaro founded this festival to celebrate cinema and give independent filmmakers a chance to share their work with a wider audience. The festival ends on Sunday with a special beach and surf program made just for our town.
Each day will feature short films, and a feature film at night, for three days in a row. The festival highlights independent filmmakers, brings people together, and offers a relaxed, welcoming space for short films on the Central Coast. You'll see a variety of films from the area, including documentaries, shorts, and feature-length movies. Carp Film Fest is all about community, learning, and fun, making it a great event for film fans of all ages.
