Be part of an extraordinary day of music and community to support the Anna Wilkinson Mockingbird Trust. No experience? No problem and no audition required! You’ll learn and perform a dazzling medley inspired by The Greatest Showman, led by the incredible Helen Jones—renowned for her unforgettable Big Sings (Les Misérables, Sound of Music, and more for BBC Hereford and Worcester).
Hosting the event is the charismatic Malcolm Boyden, BBC Hereford & Worcester’s much loved presenter, bringing his unique energy to make the day even more special.
The day culminates in a heart-warming performance, where you will take centre stage for the grand finale.
💫 Every ticket sold helps The Mockingbird Trust provide magical experiences for families with young people facing cancer diagnoses. Since 2016, the Trust has funded unforgettable events to create treasured moments.

Roll-up from 09:00, be ready to start at 10:00. There will be breaks for refreshments throughout the day and an hour break for tea at approximately 17:30
Tickets purchased for this event are non-refundable. Anyone aged under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Join us for a dazzling celebration of local talent at our vibrant community show, proudly hosted by Worcestershire’s very own showman, Malcolm Boyden. From gravity-defying acrobatics to soul-stirring cello performances, you’ll be thoroughly entertained. Prepare to be charmed by graceful dancers and be awestruck by the musical brilliance that fills the stage -this is a night where our community truly shines.
🎶 The Grand Finale:
To close the evening in unforgettable style, our specially assembled choir—formed for this day alone—will raise the roof with a powerful medley based on The Greatest Showman.

Evening admission to the community show only are £10 per person including booking fee. Doors open at 18:15 with the show starting at 19:00.
T-Shirts:
Event T-shirts are available for purchase for £10.
T-shirts will not be available to purchase on the day, so please order in advance at the time of ticket purchase. The last day to order T-Shirts is Saturday 10th of January.
Sponsor a seat:
Sponsor a seat at the event and your name, or company name, will receive a thank you on the back of the seat for £10.00. You can sponsor as many seats as you like.

What time should I arrive ?
Registration from 09:00, be ready to sing at 10:00. The carparking main gate will be open at 08:45.
If you are attending the evening performance only, registration opens from 18:15 with the performance beginning at 19:00.
How will the day run?

Are there any steps?
The venue is all on one level
What do I need to bring on the day?
We would suggest bringing a refillable water bottle with you that you can use throughout the rehearsals. You are more than welcome to bring a packed lunch with you - please note that there are no refrigerators. The café on site will be open between 8.45am and 6.45pm for hot drinks, snacks and food (the café takes both cash and card payments).
You will be sitting on your seats for quite a bit of the day, so you may wish to bring a small cushion with you to make yourself more comfy! If you have already let us know that you require an accessible seat, our team will be on hand to direct you to your allocated seating on arrival.
We will be running a raffle on the day, with some fantastic prizes available. The raffle will be cashless, so don't worry about bringing cash with you if you want to participate.

Are the music and words provided?
All you need to learn the medley will be provided. These will be words only not a score, so you don't need to be able to read music. Bring a highlighter pen to mark your part on the lyrics.
Can I dress up?
Yes, why not dress up in the theme of The Greatest Showman? Or where your The Greatest Sing T-Shirt?! This is of course optional. We suggest wearing something comfortable for rehearsals that you can wear all day. If you would like to change for the evening performance, there are bathrooms you can use. There will be heating in the hall, but you may want to bring a jumper to wear, particularly in the morning! There is limited storage space in the hall, so any belongings you bring with you need to be able to be stored under your chair.
Can I bring a dog?
Only assistance dogs please.
Where do I park – and is there a charge?
There is ample free parking at the venue - when you arrive at the Showground, go to the Main Gate (you will see a Greatest Sing banner) and you will be signposted in the direction of the car park. The car park is a 5-minute walk from the venue.
There is disabled parking closer to the venue for blue badge holders - please let the gate attendant know and they will direct you to the accessible parking.
Where do I pick up my t shirt?
Your t shirt will be available at registration.

Photos and videos will be taken throughout the day, and you are encouraged to take your own as well! If you post them on your social media, please don't forget to tag us @TheMockingbirdTrust.
If you would like to make a separate donation to The Anna Wilkinson Mockingbird Trust, information on how to do this will be in your programme that you will receive on the day, or speak to any of the crew members , who can help you to make a donation.
A limited number of walk-in tickets will be available on the day, subject to availability. Please note that these are all-day tickets only - tickets for the evening performance are now almost sold out.
