A Beautiful Star

A Beautiful Star: An Appalachian Nativity

A timeless story. An Appalachian sound. A beautiful star.

This Christmas, Theater 626 invites you to gather for a warm, funny, and music-filled retelling of the Nativity unlike any you’ve experienced before.

Set within an Appalachian church community, A Beautiful Star brings the Christmas story to life through storytelling, humor, folk-inspired music, and a cast of unforgettable characters. As ordinary people step into the familiar roles of Mary, Joseph, shepherds, angels, and kings, an ancient story becomes wonderfully immediate again.

Filled with laughter, tenderness, and the sounds of an Appalachian Christmas, A Beautiful Star is a celebration of faith, community, and the extraordinary hope found in the most ordinary of places.

Bring your family, bring your neighbors, and come gather with us beneath A Beautiful Star.
