The Hunchback Variations

For four nights only, Theater Oobleck presents Mickle Maher's "The Hunchback Variations" starring Diana Slickman and Colm O'Reilly at Facility Theatre, 1138 N California Ave, Chicago, IL.   Playing out over 11 scenes, or “variations,” the story takes the form of a panel discussion between Quasimodo, hunchback of Notre Dame, and Ludwig van Beethoven, composer, concerning their attempt to create a mysterious sound effect called for in Anton Chekhov’s The Cherry Orchard. Run time is approximately 50 minutes. Shows: 3/1, 3/2, 3/8, 3/9. TWO SUNDAY MATINEES HAVE BEEN ADDED: 3/3 and 3/10 at 3PM.
