The scientific evidence underpinning ASM highlights how optimal performance, development and improved health and well-being can be achieved via a holistic approach resulting in:

  • Improved motor skills and levels of motor creativity enhancing athletic performance, boosting confidence levels, and ultimately resulting in an active lifestyle
  • Fewer injuries, stress, and burnout contributing to longevity in the sport, mental health and athletic performance (fewer injuries equals more time training)
  • More fun and engagement during sports activity resulting in higher levels of happiness and the establishment of a positive relationship with sports (For example, children participate in activities for a longer period and are likely to maintain an active lifestyle during adulthood
  • Better performance and psychosocial skills leading to higher levels of confidence and positive social interactions.
