Start your journey to enhance your ability to design versatile movement programmes that develop adaptable movers. This webinar is open to all PE teachers from primary to secondary schools and sports coaches delivering after-school sessions and PE Leads and Heads of PE looking to revamp their PE approach! Learn how ASM can support:

  • Designing and implementing a structured non-linear pedagogy approach into your PE programme

  • Creating a wide opportunity for movement variation in an engaging and fun environment

  • Supporting pupils' movement exploration and exploitation and motor competence development

The scientific evidence underpinning ASM highlights how optimal performance, development and improved health and well-being can be achieved via a holistic approach resulting in:

  • Improved motor skills and levels of motor creativity enhancing athletic performance, boosting confidence levels, and ultimately resulting in an active lifestyle
  • Fewer injuries, stress, and burnout contributing to longevity in the physical activity, mental health and athletic performance (fewer injuries equals more time training)
  • More fun and engagement during PE classes resulting in higher levels of happiness and the establishment of a positive relationship with physical activity and sports (For example, children participate in activities for a longer period and are likely to maintain an active lifestyle during adulthood
  • Better performance and psychosocial skills leading to higher levels of confidence and positive social interactions.
