Planning Strategically for Volunteer Involvement is about helping practitioners and organisations to establish appropriate frameworks for developing volunteering.

Aim: To assist participants plan their volunteer programmes at strategic level, and establish appropriate frameworks for volunteering within their organisations.

The course will provide participants with:

An awareness of the aims and values which underpin their work with volunteers

An understanding of the management task and the role of volunteer management

Knowledge of how to create a volunteer framework appropriate to their organisation
