Matching Volunteers to Roles and Tasks explores issues and practice in the selection and matching of volunteers to tasks within the organisation, with a focus on interviewing skills.

Aim: To explore issues and practice in the selection and matching of volunteers to appropriate tasks within the organisation.

The course will provide participants with:

Knowledge of how to create volunteer task description/portfolio of volunteer opportunities

Knowledge of different selection methods with particular reference to interviewing volunteers

The opportunity to address issues around counselling out unsuitable volunteers

An awareness of local and national trends affecting volunteers.
