Experience the rush of seeing your favorite titles on the shelves, cute trinkets and bookmarks in the aisles, and the dopamine hit of bringing home a brand new book! If you’ve been craving the wonder and joy of finding a read picked especially for you you’re in luck -- the Bakie Book Fair is back! Join The Bakery Atlanta and Charis Books and More on Thursday, August 20, 2025 from 6:00-9:30 PM at The Supermarket - 638 N Highland Ave, Atlanta GA 30306

Shop handmade goods from local artists and designers at The Supermarket’s new gift shop, The Pharmacy! Find your fave new story with Charis's hand-picked selection (Their team was born be your literary matchmaker). Done shopping? Enjoy some crafting with The Bakery Atlanta, we'll have stations for DIY bookmarks and zine making. See you there!

This is a free event but donations are always appreciated! We encourage you to donate $5 to $25 with your free RSVP. These donations help fuel our arts programming!

🚪The Supermarket’s main entrance is located at 638 N Highland Ave NE. The door is between Big Softie and Colette Bakeshop leading you down a hallway and a staircase. See a helpful map hereand watch this reel on Instagram here!

🚪The secondary entrance is through a residential courtyard. Enter through the black metal gate on the side of the Otto's building from the parking lot (at N. Highland and Blue Ridge). Be quiet when leaving events this way after dark as this is a residential courtyard. Note this entrance has a few stairs.

🚗Nearby Parking and Prices:

• Limited Parking spots in front of The Shops at Otto's on N. Highland Ave. Must register with ParkMobile. Free for 1 hr before 6pm. Paid after 6pm. (Zone# 3241)
• Small lot beside Otto’s Apartment Hotel at N. Highland and Blue Ridge. Must register with ParkMobile. (Zone# 3240). Do not park in 'resident only' spots.
• Public lot at N. Highland and Ponce (behind and in front of Plaza Theatre). "Scan to Pay" signs. Mon-Sat: 7am-10pm. Free for 15 min. $5 for 1hr, +$1 for each added.
• Six story deck at 675 N. Highland Ave. $5-$6 for up to 2hr, +$1 for each hr added. $14 daily max.
