The Bangladeshi Doctors' UK National Conference 2026

An academic conference showcasing the best peer-reviewed research and quality improvement submissions, with 100 oral presentations and many prizes. Morning refreshments, lunch and all day tea and coffee availability. There will be multi-part pre-conference courses available for registrants to attend (MRCS Part A; MRSA prep; IMT application journey,MRCS preparation and How to get your first NHS job) that will culminate with on-the-day workshops at the conference.

This year's theme is entering national leadership positions as a resident doctor - 4 resident doctors will share their journey and guide you through the steps to follow. Following this will be a unique number of different Bangladeshi Doctor entrepreneurs who innovated with products and launched start-ups as resident doctors who will guide you through their playbooks.

Academic activities will be followed by a networking reception where prizes are awarded and a gala dinner and cultural entertainment programme.

The Gala Dinner is earlier this year (6pm) and will bring together doctors, allied health professionals, their families and guests. We have received an overwhelming level of feedback to bring back the 2025 Bangladeshi caterer for his 'Biye Bari' dinner and have managed to secure the prized chef from Birmingham again for 2026. After dinner cultural programme by doctors will conclude the event that has been a highlight in the Bangladeshi doctors' community in previous years.

Thank you and we look forward to seeing you at this year's conference!
