The Bay International Film Festival (TBIFF) is an annual film festival with live cinema screenings and awards, running in Morecambe, North West England.
TBIFF aims to promote international and Northern independent films in the Lancashire and Cumbria areas as well as create a cultural dialogue between the audiences of North West England and the world. We want to inspire local audiences and international filmmakers with great films, thoughtful conversations, and joyful encounters.
In 2026 TBIFF will include: independent film screenings, 8 international short film programmes, Q&A sessions with film & TV guests, Film forum "Mental Health in Focus", Red Carpet Awards Ceremony, film networking events, community film clubs and kids animation workshops.

"Stories Beyond Borders" is one of the major focuses of the festival. It is international short film competition to select and award the best visually captivating and thought-provoking short films from around the world. We are especially interested in submissions from filmmakers who have an ambition of making a social impact, bringing awareness of old and new problems in society and making an attempt to inspire audiences for thoughts and changes.
