Breaking Bands Festival was initually formed back in 2013 as an upgrade from a yearly Birthday Bash for the now legendary TBFM Online Radio. From a Birthday Bash it was decided that a dedicated weekend of camping and mayhem should be the way forward. After 2 years of planning, BBFest found a home and was born in 2015. Each year the festival is hosted at Stoke Prior Sports & Country Club in Bromsgrove (Worcestershire) on the late May bank holiday weekend. The festival has won several awards including the national award in 2023 from the UK Festival Awards (over 725,000 voters) for GRASSROOTS FESTIVAL OF THE YEAR. Breaking Bands Festival has never lost its true values of being all about the next generation of artists, promoting bands that have yet to be discovered. The festival motto 'Discover Your New Favourite Band' has been a tradition every year and something the organisers are proud to hear from the music fans.
