🌿 Back to Belong
A Young People's Wellbeing Retreat (Ages 11+)
As the summer holidays come to an end, many young people begin to experience mixed emotions about returning to school.
For some, it's excitement.
For others, it's worry, overwhelm or a loss of confidence.
Back to Belong is a calming, trauma-informed wellbeing retreat designed to help young people pause, reset and develop practical tools they can take with them into the new school year.

Hosted by The Belonging Dojo, this gentle one-day experience combines movement, creativity, mindfulness and self-reflection in a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment where every young person is accepted exactly as they are.
💛 Throughout the day we'll explore:
🌿 Ki-Yo Flow™ mindful movement
🧘 Mindfulness, breathing and grounding techniques
💛 Understanding emotions and building self-awareness
✨ Kintsugi-inspired identity activities
📖 Creative journalling
🎨 Wellbeing crafts
🔔 Sound relaxation
🤝 Friendship, kindness and belonging
💚 Practical wellbeing tools for everyday life
Young people will leave with simple techniques to help them feel calmer, build confidence, regulate emotions and look after their wellbeing as they return to school.
No experience is needed.
This is not about being flexible or "good" at mindfulness.
It's simply a space to slow down, connect and remember that you belong.
