NATIONAL ENTERTAINMENT AWARDS LONDON

LATEST INFORMATION - SEE BELOW.  IF YOU ARE MAKING YOUR OWN WAY - MAKE SURE YOU ARE THERE IN TIME TO BE IN YOUR SEATS IN SECTION E BEFORE THE START OF THE SHOW AT 6.30PM.  WE ARE 30TH IN THE LINE UP TO PERFORM SO IN THE SECOND HALF OF THE EVENING.  SEE YOU THERE! 

YOU ARE INVITED TO PERFORM WITH US AT THE NATIONAL ENTERTAINMENT AWARDS CEREMONY AT THE INDIGO@THE O2!

BIG SING CHOIR MEMBER - BY INVITATION ONLY : If you have received an invitation to book this event, then you may book to perform with us at the National Entertainment Awards at the Indigo@The O2 on Sunday 17th November which will be led by Gemma & Howard.    You need to book your ticket here first and then you will be sent the details to book your ticket at the O2 which must be done the same day and will cost £40 per person plus £2 booking fee.  These fees are outside of our control and are charged directly by the NEA.  So please ONLY book if you can also commit to purchasing the NEA ticket.    Aged under 18's are allowed to be booked as long as they are included in the invitation, are active choir members and accompanied by an adult.

This event is only open to selected choir members from Kent and Essex who have already registered their interest.  Please do NOT share this ticket link with anyone else - we are sending the invitations directly to choir members.

SONG:  If Love Could Just Be Love - shorter version.  Listen to the song here. The difference is that there is only one chorus in between the verse and the bridge and the ending misses out the first part where the tenors repeat it could be it would be ... make sure you listen and get familiar please.

LYRICS:

UNIFORM: SMART! BIG Sing black/gold t-shirts (any design), with smart black jackets and black bottoms (e.g. skirt, trousers) . Smart shoes. (NO zoodies).

Kent Choir Members (inc Bexleyheath): you will need to make your own way to the venue.

COSTS:  Choir members who want to Make their own Way - MOW £5  ; Essex/COACH £20

PLUS - for everyone:   NEA Ticket fee- £42 including booking fee   NB YOU MUST HAVE YOUR NEA TICKET AVAILABLE TO SHOW TO GAIN ACCESS TO THE VENUE ON THE DAY.  WE CANNOT HELP WITH THIS IF YOU DO NOT HAVE YOUR TICKET.

EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE ENTRANCE SO THAT WE CAN SIT IN OUR SECTIONS IN THE SEATING AREA REASY TO GO ON STAGE 

REFRESHMENTS:  Update from the organiser regarding refreshments:   *Ham Sandwich Update*
After lengthy discussions with the venue, we have now agreed that PERFORMERS ONLY can bring a sealed bottle of water or cold soft drink into the venue.
Performers only may also bring a tidy non messy or smelly packed lunch, such as a ham sandwich (their words, not mine), crisps, chocolate etc.
There must be absolutely no nuts to avoid allergies. And absolutely no alcohol!
Please note that we are still not responsible for the checks on the door or what the O2 staff may wish to disagree with or confiscate.
Water coolers dispensers should be dotted around the venue so that you can refill your water bottles.

ESSEX COACH DETAILS: Please check in with the coach leader before boarding the coach - Chelmsford - Jenny Dutton / Rayleigh - Chellby.

Pick up 1: 3.00pm  Chelmsford: Blue Lion bus stop opposite Tabors Hill, Great Baddow, CM2 9RD Park in Great Baddow Recreation Ground CM2 9RL and walk through. This is the bus stop:

Pick up 2: 3.30pm Rayleigh Grange, Little Wheatley Chase, Rayleigh SS6 9EH park in the car park FOC.

Pick up 3: 4pm Thurrock Services, RM16 3BG  if boarding at Thurrock then park in the car park.  Pay the fee to park over 2 hrs which is £15 and walk to the coach parking area to board the coach.

The coach will park in Car Park 1 which is a bit of a walk from the Indigo so please wear comfortable shoes.

Approx return journey times: By 10.30 pm Depart the Indigo@The O2 - arrive back to your coach stop between 11:30pm-12.30 am.

AT THE VENUE: 

In the Indigo O2 we are sitting in Block E.  The wheelchairs will be located just behind block E.  There is a lift backstage for the wheelchairs to have access.  We will be 30th to perform on the night.  

COACH SEATS AND SPACES ARE LIMITED - SO PLEASE BOOK NOW TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT
