In The Science of Science Fiction, astronomer Dr Mark Gallaway takes a look under the hood of sci-fi’s greatest hits to reveal the mind-bending (and sometimes hilarious) science behind them. Having worked on major astronomical projects and advised screenwriters on how not to ruin their science, Dr Gallaway bridges the gap between screen fantasy and real physics. Expect a light-hearted, candid session full of pop culture, cutting-edge science, a bit of adult language, and zero boring lectures.
