This year, Bishops’ Blue Coat CofE High School warmly invites you to a unique Cathedral Carol Service – “No One Left Behind.”
We come together in a fresh and inspiring way to celebrate the Christmas story—through soul-stirring readings, joyful carols, vibrant theatre, dance, and music. We are honoured to welcome the Bishop of Chester, Mark Tanner, who will share a special message reflecting on the true meaning of Christmas.
Our theme for this year is “No One Left Behind.” Inspired by the nativity story, it reminds us that in a time of uncertainty and hardship, everyone deserves a place of welcome and belonging. This message calls us to build a community where no one is excluded or forgotten.
We will be joined by our local Church of England primary schools to worship together, sharing in this special celebration of faith and community.
This year, our fundraising supports Space Chester, a remarkable charity that provides accessible play and vital support to over 600 children with a range of abilities—including physical disabilities, complex health needs, sensory impairments, autism, ADHD, and other neurodevelopmental conditions. Many of these children face social isolation and exclusion due to a lack of accessible and inclusive play opportunities in the wider community.
To help everyone feel welcome, Space Chester will have a small pop-up sensory area available during the service, providing a calm and supportive space for those who may need it.
Join us in this colourful celebration of hope, faith, and community—where everyone is welcome and no one is left behind.
Reserve your place now and be part of this unforgettable celebration of faith, community, and inclusion.
