The BizClub warmly bids you come,
To Christmas cheer and festive fun,
So mark December 18 clear,
For lunch and laughter full of cheer.

At Falcon Hotel, the tables wait,
A splendid feast to celebrate,
With all the trimmings, grand and fine,
And not a sad dry sprout in line.

There’ll be delights for every taste,
A meal where nothing goes to waste,
Though waistbands may not quite agree
By pudding course number two or three.

The company will be just as bright,
With friends and guests to bring delight,
Good conversation, joy, and cheer,
And Christmas spirit far too early for the year.

And music, too, will fill the room,
To banish any winter gloom,
With Rachel Thomas leading play,
On keys and vocals all the way.

She’ll have us singing loud and proud,
The shy, the bold, the off-key crowd,
From carols sweet to festive songs,
Where everyone forgets the proper notes belong.

Our Chairman Ian Guyler too,
Will keep a watchful eye on you,
And if the mince pies start to stray,
He’ll surely guide them all his way.

So come along and take your place,
With merry heart and smiling face,
For food and friendship, song, and cheer,
To celebrate the close of year.

Expect good company, festive glee,
And maybe one more roast potato than should be,
A joyful afternoon to share,
With Christmas magic in the air.

So join us for this grand occasion,
A lunchtime festive celebration,
And let us gather, glad and gay,
To eat, to sing, and make a day.

Merry Christmas we all will say,
With laughter ringing all the way,
And memories made in bright display,
At BizClub’s Christmas lunch this happy day.
