Rosie Wilby: The Breakup Monologues — The Unexpected Joy of Heartbreak

Sun 24 May 2026 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM The Book Hotel at The Falstaff, CT11 9JJ

Award-winning comedian, author and podcaster Rosie Wilby explores the science of heartbreak and reveals the truth about how we can turn a breakup into an opportunity for healing, learning and growth. She decodes the new lexicon of breakups, discusses how behaviours like 'ghosting' make us feel, and investigates the surprising male and female relationship patterns revealed by lesbian and gay divorce statistics.

Rosie is a Radio 4 regular, often described as the 'lesbian Louis Theroux' for her quirkily humorous investigative books, shows and talks on the complexities of love and heartbreak. Her podcast The Breakup Monologues has been nominated for two British Podcast Awards and won a Wellcome Trust Pulse Award.

Please note that tickets are non-refundable.
