The BHGS Burton "Doubles" 2027

From 2027 onwards The BHGS are picking up the baton from BAD Wargamers in Burton to continue running the 30+ year old Burton "Doubles" event.

The BHGS Burton Doubles will take place in the usual venue of the Burton Town Hall over the weekend of 20th & 21st February 2027

Burton is the home of British brewing, with many great pubs and microbreweries in the town (as well as the major brewers), making it ideal for a weekend wargames competition. There is a Travelodge budget hotel within a couple of minutes walk of the venue, and a number of similar budget branded hotels (Premier Inn etc) in and around Burton as well.

For 2027 we will be staging the following events.

• L'Art de la Guerre Doubles
• DBMM Doubles
• Field of Glory (Singles)
• Mortem et Gloriam (Singles)
• Renatio et Gloriam (Singles)
• DBA - "The Mercian" Doubles (1 day, Saturday 20th only)
• Saga (TBC)
• Field of Glory Renaissance Doubles
• Barons War (TBC)

​Tickets for "Doubles" events are priced for a team of 2 players, other events are priced "per player".
