An evening with Dr Teresa Hollands

Dr Teresa Hollands will be delivering an evening webinar on equine nutrition. Join us on Thursday 28 May 7 – 8pm.

This will be a continuation of the talk from last year where Teresa spoke about Chronic Inflammatory Disease, associated with clinical signs such metabolic syndromes (EMS, PPID/Cushing’s), laminitis, osteoarthritis and other chronic illnesses. Teresa will discuss how to feed horses with these issues whilst maintaining feeding practises which are in line with horses’ natural lifestyles to support health and performance.

Teresa is a member of the BHS Equine Health and Welfare Advisory Committee and has supported the BHS for many years. An internationally renowned Clinical Equine Nutritionist, with over 39 years in practice. Currently a Senior Lecturer in Veterinary Nutrition at the University of Surrey, teaching veterinary medicine and veterinary biosciences students, emphasising the importance of evidence-based practice and client communication in relation to nutrition.
