Padraig McCarthy is an international Irish event rider who has recently competed at the World Equestrian Games at Aachen and at the prestigious Badminton Horse Trials. He won an individual silver medal at the World Equestrian Games in Tryon, USA, and has represented Ireland at six major championships, including the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio. Last year, he was part of Ireland's silver medal-winning team at the European Championships at Blenheim.
