Hedgehogs in your Gardens
Need help?
This event is part of our Sussex Research series. In this series, University of Sussex PhD students and Post-Docs are invited to share their exciting research with the Buzz Club, providing new information on the animals you share your garden with.
Join PhD student, Emily Thrift for a talk on hedgehogs!
Hedgehogs are facing a huge decline in the UK. In this talk, Emily will share practical tips on how to make your garden more hedgehog-friendly and how we can support these animals across our wider communities. She will highlight the ways to reduce common threats to hedgehogs in your garden and local community, such as plastic waste, bonfires, strimmers, and roads. Emily will also explain the findings from her research on plastic ingestion and entanglement in hedgehogs.
This is an online webinar. If you cannot make the day of event, please still book a ticket and the recording can be sent to you.
