Hard Charger // FREDERICTON, NB
Hard Charger is a hardcore punk band originating from Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. Known for their intense and aggressive sound, Hard Charger combines elements of hardcore punk and crust punk. The band's music often features fast tempos, abrasive guitar riffs, and raw vocals, reflecting influences from classic punk and metal genres.
Over the years, Hard Charger has released several albums and EPs, gaining a reputation for their energetic live performances and uncompromising sound. They have toured extensively, both in Canada and internationally, building a dedicated fan base within the underground punk scene.
Their discography includes notable releases such as "This Machine Is Driving" and "Vol. 4: Take The Guff And Suffer." The band's lyrical themes typically address social and political issues, resonating with audiences who appreciate punk's rebellious and confrontational spirit.
Skunk Motel // HALIFAX, NS
Welcome to Skunk Motel; It’s loud as frig, messy as hell, and there’s always room for everyone.
With hard-hitting drums, disarming vocals, and driving guitars, Skunk Motel paints an image of an 90s punk-induced daydream. Through the use of captivating lyrics and moody melodies, the all-female onslaught forces you to navigate the twists & turns of turbulent emotions alongside them, offering you both a hug and a hand grenade.
Vulpine // HALIFAX, NS
Vulpine is a queer, female-fronted hardcore band based in Dartmouth, NS. Formed in late 2019, Vulpine had to hit pause on their planned takeover of the maritimes due to the pandemic but made their comeback known in 2024. Vulpine consists of Jules Cameron (Turpentine), Tyree Krszwda (Turpentine, Book Buddies), Becca Dalley (Designosaur, Cluttered, Book Buddies), and recently recruited Sean Parsons (Designosaur, Outtacontroller) as their drummer. Vulpine calls themselves a “Tony Hawk Rock Band” due to their sound being inspired by the Tony Hawk Pro Skater game series.
