The Liquor Store - August 24th at The Cap - Doors 7:30pm / Show 8pm
The Liquor Store is a musical project from young and talented musicians of Montreal. The Store has been promoting its groovy energy since 2015 through major events (FIJM, Festival de Jazz de Lévis, Festijazz de Rimouski etc.) and homegrown tours alike in Ontario, New-Brunswick, Québec and Prince Edward-Island.
With three fresh titles available on all streaming platforms, the group offers a wide scope of takes on various styles - RnB, Funk, Hip-Hop, Soul, Electronica and Jazz.
They seek to offer explosive performances as well as intricate, well-thought, and more intimate rendering when in studio.
Following the success behind their album “NightDrive” which earned them a GAMIQ for best jazz album of the year 2020, the band is currently working on their next album ”Colossus”, which will be the first of two titles to be released in the year 2021.
