Abby Waldorf | Fractional Leader | Planet Positive Collab | Former Nike Innovation Strategy
Abby is a business strategist, operations leader, and Regenerative Design Practitioner whose work spans footwear, apparel, beauty, agriculture, and deep-tech. She began her career working with smallholder farmers on a global research program in 35 countries while living in Sri Lanka and Ethiopia. She went on to lead Nike's sustainable materials strategy, driving the acceleration and scaling of new materials across the enterprise to meet 2030 carbon targets. Through her consultancy Planet Positive Collab, she works with companies ranging from global brands to early-stage ventures, helping them design and operate regenerative and futureproof businesses. Informed by practitioners like Carol Sanford and Robin Wall Kimmerer, her approach starts from interconnectedness: the recognition that business operates within the people, communities, and ecosystems it depends on, whereas today they are often treated apart. Designing from that reality makes companies stronger, not just less harmful.
