Carbonauts Sustainability Sips | Climate Advocacy | Culver City (CSE-LA) 209

Thu Jul 9, 2026 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM Parks Project 8540 Washington Blvd, Culver City, CA 90232

We are excited to invite you to our first professional development workshop where we will be incorporating a deep dive into the skills that can help advance your climate and sustainability career.

Ever wondered what makes a great public speaker?

For our next Sustainability Sips, we're taking a deep dive into the art of public speaking for climate and sustainability, will you join us?

This is a classic happy-hour style networking evening featuring an interactive workshop delivered by Dr Ali “Victor” Binazir, public speaking coach. You will learn essential skills that will help you communicate better, whether you have grand ambitions to speak to large crowds or would like to be more convincing during board presentations. Three volunteers will have the opportunity to participate in a live-coaching session.

Super Charisma: How to Be a Transformative Speaker for Climate Advocacy

Taking action on climate change is arguably the most urgent cause on Planet Earth right now. And yet, when you communicate as a climate professional, being backed up by truth, science and data are not nearly enough. You will not effect meaningful change unless you are able to move your audience -- emotionally and physically.

In this workshop, you will learn the fundamentals of effective public speaking via Dr Binazir's proprietary 3x3 Super Charisma Framework. By the end of it, you'll know how to convey your all-important message in such a way that your audience will remember it, feel it, and act upon it. Although this workshop is geared specifically towards climate advocates, the skill set you'll acquire is applicable to all spheres of endeavor for the rest of your life. Join us for a workshop that can alter the trajectory of your life and that of the planet.
