What is the Carbon Literacy Action Day?
The annual International Carbon Literacy Action Day is the world’s largest climate education and action training event.
It offers an opportunity for as many learners as possible from all walks of life, organisations, sectors, backgrounds and nations all around the world, to complete their Carbon Literacy training simultaneously on a single day.
The Action Day will take place on Thurday 14th of November 2024, coinciding with COP29 – the largest climate event of the year. And so, while world leaders gather to discuss and negotiate on climate policy in Dubai, Carbon Literacy learners will be on-the-ground learning, collaborating and becoming empowered to take impactful action on climate change.
The Action Day is fully inclusive and open to all, and on the 14th of November 2024, we hope to witness thousands of people from all walks of life, and all around the world, participate and complete their days’ worth of Carbon Literacy training – but we can’t achieve this without you.
If you are interested in taking part or wish to find out more and are unable to attend the introductory events, please register your interest via this Action Day 2024 Sign-up Form and we will provide you with a comprehensive guide with key information on what the Action Day is and how you can successfully take part.
